Absolute favorites from the show list are Benjamin Sisko, Kira Nerys, Julian Bashir, Miles O’Brien, Odo, Quark, Elim Garak, Gul Dukat, Kai Winn, Angelo Lagusa, Nero Vanetti, Fango, Walter White, Jesse Pinkman, Hank Schrader, Gustavo Fring, Saul Goodman, Mike Ehrmantraut, Jean-Luc Picard, William Riker, Worf, Data, Q, James T. Kirk, Spock, Leonard "Bones" McCoy, Askeladd, Bjorn, Thors, Thorkell, Lorne Malvo, & Lester Nygaard. >Interesting and enjoyable character relationships with good chemistry, even if it’s an antagonistic relationship (Sisko and Dax, Odo and Quark, Angelo and Nero, Walter and Jesse, Picard and Data, Spock and Bones, Thorfinn and Askeladd, to name a few). >Subtle portrayal of powerful emotions as opposed to regular over the top emotional outbursts. >Comedy written into the show in ways that make sense in-universe and in-character. I like comedies but not looking for one right now. Similarly, a mix of genres throughout the show rather than just one note throughout. >Minimal action unless it drives the story, introduces character traits, or develops >Continuity and character development. >Shows that grab you before season 5.
