I know it's not exactly what you asked for, but if you're okay with a manga rather than an anime and okay with some erotic content in an incredibly beautiful, emotional story, I do have my usual recommendation. I'll put it in the picture so it doesn't clog up the damn page.

i've seen the post but i think i dont have the attention span to read manga, the lack of music is always what kills it
i read part of punpun and got to the part of the uncle being depressed and i felt next to nothing because i find it a pain in the ass to read in comfortable situations as opposed to sitting in my chair at a computer
