first. Maybe watch Tokyo Godfathers when its closer to Christmas, it's an excellent holiday film. War in the Pocket is also set around Christmastime, so if that's the Gundam OVA mentioned I'd say go for it.
Dunno where it would fit in order wise but Penguindrum is a very high quality show.
