Suspects: Something Balkan (Bulgarian, Macedonian, Albanian...), maybe Farsi
Ruled out: Turkish, Arabic, Romanian, Russian, Latvian

The artist is Romanian and it was in a compilation called "Cafe de Anatolia", which would imply Turkish, but these guys use all sorts of language, including Bengali, Sanskrit, Portuguese, Russian... so anything goes.
