It's about three artists. It begins with police asking a girl to draw the face of a criminal, which she can't because she's the type who's very expressive but lacking skill. Another guy who has exceptional technique makes a very aesthetic portrait of the criminal. A third berates his needless crosshatching and draws a crude but very proportionally accurate picture, which leads to them catching the guy.
