There are plenty of anime and manga that are edgy just for the sake of being edgy and they have way more gore, violence, etc than berserk. However, edgy shit that is made for middleschoolers typically has a shit story and isn't even worth watching. I remember seeing and reading a few, but I don't even remember the names off the top of my head because of how bad they were.
