Foobar2000 is a onestop tool for music player. I also love to use MPC-HC with KLC megapack. It's general media player, good tool for both audio & video. VLC is popular (& pro, ofc) for video, but hardly tried it for audio. Should work decent.
For android, I use MXplayer. A powerful app. Recently their free version is full of cancerous ads. But not to hard to tweak with luckypatcher. Another good app for android is HibyMusic. Freemium hires audio player. Recommended. Besides these I like DoubleTwist. PowerAmp might have been heart warming if there was a true patched cracked version :') Left it behind during 2013.
