I wouldn't mind seeing a rough idea of the replacement you do beforehand though, please.

Their hips might need moving closer together too, depending on what you decide to do.

I was able to find this version of it, if it helps give you a headstart on the rest of the work, since it looks alittle off without their arms anywhere to be seen.

The sides o ftheir hips where the guy used to be needs a bit of cleaning up and smoothing out, as they look a little jagged at the moment though.

Those are both amazing work, thanks so much.
Just a slight nitpink, but the styling looks a bit too realistic compared to the artists style.
If you mind touching up or just changing the shading/details, I have some references for hands that they've done here.

My bad, didn't look at the artist's work close enough.
I made the arms a little thicker, hands a little larger, and simplified the shading. Is this better or should I simplify the shape of the hands as well?

I like how that looks, but you can try simplifying it more, if you wanted to?

Just another idea, but the shape of their arms could maybe be tweaked just a smidge more? Mainly just to show how the thicknss of it is bigger when it's closer to the elbow, as shown here?
Not sure if that wouldn't be there though, due to their arms being outstretched, but just an idea.

Sure, I can simplify the hands more. I can thicken the upper forearm more too, but I'd have to change the part of the arm the artist originally drew to get the effect you're looking for. If that's cool I'll do it.
For now, here's a reference of where the elbows are at.

Ah, I never actually noticed it's exactly the same as the original, aside from the hands.
Perhaps just doing the hands work would be good enough then. Thanks for doing that rough though.

That actually leads into a request I was going to do after this thread dies.
I'd love to sho as much of them both as I could, both sides of their hips, more tail and more tummy, if you wanted to try and take that on?
It's a huge request though, so don't feel like you have to, I just really like Lamias, so wide hips and fit tummies is kind of a draw in for me.

I can do that for you, but it'll take me a while. This look good to you for a frame? Also, since I'm extending it, would you prefer I do something with that blue area or should I just leave it as is?

I think you could maybe widen their hips just a bit more, to really sell the wide hips sort of thing that lamias always have going for them.

If you had ideas for the BG, feel free to do up a rough, but if it's too much work, feel free to just leave it as is.

I'v also got a reference sheet here, if it helps. It doesn't show anything (Sort of a mannequin sheet), so I hope it's okay to post here.
