Use references and as you start getting used to something, set time limits and test yourself. Study off of artists you love, too. Don't copy them (that's an /ic/ tracefag cope), break down their process, replicate it, and modify your own with the parts you like.
Take breaks and diversify what you draw, too. Judging from your OP picture you like to draw characters, so take a while to instead focus on animals, plants, objects, backgrounds, machinery, or anything else you feel like.
Honestly, just have fun with it, draw often, and be ambitious with what you draw. If you have an idea that seems above your skill level, go through with it and do it. Even if it looks like shit it gives you a blueprint of things to work on and eventually get better at.
