>>1195343Krita (pros):
- Intuitive
- Free
- Has a few cool helpful features that you become use to and help you in your workflow, like passing the cursor trough a layer and it gives you a visual preview of the content of the layer
- Eventually becoming more competent for animation
Krita (Cons):
- Kinda slow
- Limited set of brushes
- Kinda of a small comunity, which would usually help you with assets and tips
- Not many tutorials on hwo to use it
Clip Studio Paint (pros):
- A very competent competition to photoshop as the industry standart
- Faster
- Cheaper than other softwares
- TONS of features and personalization, like it's overwhelming
- Tons of downloadable material, including 3D models and textures too I think
- Big community
Clip Studio Paint (cons):
- Costs $$$
- Can be overwhelming and confusing, and this is a big point for me
I use Krita tho. SAI and Medibang are also an option but unless I'm drawing on a toaster I would go for the ones I mentioned beforehand
