My PC randomly shut down tonight. I eventually figured out I need to push the RAM down firmly in the slot for it to work. Once I move my hand off the stick, it shuts back off. I'm not keen on experimenting on this too much, seems like a good way to corrupt my installation.
I have tried multiple sticks in every slot and the story is the same. I must hold the RAM down in the slot to boot. Any suggestions to try before I just buy a new mobo?

Sticks were Viper Steel 3600 c14 2x8gb, but it's the same with different sticks as I said.
