mhhmhh.. if this hits the nail on its head, then (as i call it) 'wave theory' comes into play
so you remember the term pineal gland, we humans subconsciously perceive everything, thats because everything is a wave
your eyes see the reflected lights of surfaces giving it a color, shape etc.
your ears hear sound waves
your taste and sense work through electric input (like a touchpad)
your smell.. i dont actually know, but there are gadgets that can e.g. measure the smell of weed manufacturers so it should be the same
all of those waves get recogniced subconsciously, but in order for a human to function properly it has to get filtered for the conscious mind, this is the job of the pineal gland
long story short: if the tree isn't able to pass the pineal gland barrier, it would not exist
could be wrong though, believe it or not, i stumbled into this this topic a long time ago and accidentially found the philosophers stone or god or reached gnosis, many names for the same principle
