Well, if you like the lord of the rings and nu-hobbit, the Bakshi's lord of the rings movie might interest you.
It obviously inspired the Jackson movies even if Jackson has been quite ambiguous in the past about it.

Picrel is a very comfy fantasy show from the BBC a decade or so ago. Good balance between serious and lighthearted, great chemistry in the cast. Was a big thing when it came out but no one really talks about it anymore which is a shame.
