>>1214026Gundam 0083, Victory, G, Wing, X, Seed and Destiny, 00, Thunderbolt, and Gundam Build Divers season 1 are the best. Age has a lot o problems, but the first 15 are unironically great stuff. Contrary to what others will say Turn A was a failure of an anniversary series that aged poorly and if Wings of Rean did not exist it'd be considered Tomino's worst even surpassing Garzey's Wing and Brain Powerd (after Victory he really went down hill). Reconguista in G is very divisive. For the Universal Century timeline give 08th MS Team, 0083, and F91 a shot, War in The Pocket 0080 is a bait and switch mediocre spy story that does a poor job representing the franchise. Build Fighters is mostly just for easter eggs and model builders, more of a fans only deal. The original series, Zeta, Double Zeta, Char's Counterattack, Unicorn, Narrative, and [spoiler:lit]Twilight Axis[/spoiler:lit] are one mostly cohesive story that is not recommended to watch out of order although Narrative makes it all worth it at the end as it answers unsolved mysteries the franchise had since inception. Most of the old SD Gundam OVAs have been subbed at this point, you can knock out a lot of those over the weekend, but there are more in jokes than Build Fighters.
I mean this with minimal exaggeration and sincerity: Avoid Iron Blooded Orphans and Hathaway's Flash/Trash/Cash. Both of them are very poorly made and boring, the former even had ANN doing propaganda coverage since it was licensed by Funimation who pays for their ad money, make no mistake Asian fans (not just Japanese) hated it for good reason, not just as gundam or mecha but as a piece of animation in general. Hathaway's Flash is only popular because it was based on books that were barely gundam-y, it is so far removed from the franchise and genre that it is insulting and they still have two more of those shitty movies to make.
