all I want to do is undo the update or at the very least get the vertical tabs back for chrome, I tried downloading some extension or something but its not working on my phone and the play store wont show the vertical tab extension. I know very little about phones or tech I just want the vertical tabs back in chrome how do I do this???

This is a slow board. You don't need to bump so often. You cannot uninstall the android 12 update without losing all your data. the flags thing stoped working years ago I was only able to have the vertical tabs because I stopped google from auto updating and somehow managed to download an older version from the play store or something but my phone auto updated to android 12 and now it gives me the shitty gid tabs instead

you could uninstall chrome and then download and install an older version. the newest version is with those tabs.
try using Kiwi browser. you can choose the tabs style you want and even install extensions like on pc browser.
