How did you quit smoking?

I stopped cancer sticks about a month ago and started vaping. But now after daily use I'm starting to get the same side effects.. Question is

I used to smoke 4 packs a day. The only way I could quit was a prescription for Wellbutrin.

Yes, but not for smoking. I was reading it before recommending it to someone else, to see if it was full of shit or not, and ended up quitting Magic: The Gathering.

It basically explained how I was just spending money on it because I'd formed a habit of spending money on it, and wasn't actually enjoying playing it, and buying all the little packs wasn't actually fun or something I actually wanted to do, and it got me into the mindset of being an ex-MTG player, even though the whole time it was talking about smoking.

Don't get me wrong, it's entirely possible to have a healthy relationship with MTG, just mine really wasn't.

like others said, read Allen Carr's book. and when you do stop by the end of the book DO NOT EVER AGAIN smoke cigs or vapes or anything with nicotine. i managed to quit for almost 3 full years, decided im not a smoker anymore, got drunk one night and light up a cig. now here i am 5 years later smoking 2 packs a day.

it takes some willpower and understanding of the addiction and yourself. chewing gums doesnt help, patches dont help, advice and hypnosis dont help. cumming can get tiring, smoking cant.

Yeah you're on to something. I've quit everything already before myself and it only took one smoke to pull me back into it.

I wish i could just stop but to give a example the feeling hits and stays like if one needed to piss real bad, It lurks and is a feeling that seems to be non stop.
