All my life, I've only ever watched anime.
I recently watched Hilda, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Looking for more.

Stuff like Hilda would be good, but I am pretty open to all genres. My main motivator is to see cute girls but if there is other stuff you want to recommend please go ahead.
I'll say one thing, after lurking /co/ to try and find some stuff that interested me, a lot of shows put me off due to the art-style. Not sure what the style is called, but something like Rick & Morty would be an example from this thread. If one of those shows is well recommended though, I would be fine checking it out in-spite of art style.

We've had a wave of Hilda like shows with a cute girl having adventures:
Star Vs The Forces of Evil, pic related
The Owl House
Amphiabia
Infinity Train
12 Forever
Gravity fall to a lesser extent
These shows are not perfect but the girls are cute
Ruby Gloom is an old show but it's really cute.

Western cartoons since the 1990s are entirely antiwhite/antimale featuring really ugly non-anatomically representative characters (at least anime generally gets bodies right) that aren’t really doing anything heroic or masculine. There is no inspiration or joy in watching any of that to me so I don’t understand how anyone could put themselves through that. Even extremely mediocre run of the mill shounen anime is at least motivating at the bare minimum.

It could also be that westerners are too lazy for 2D animation with their “4 day work week” culture and regular 2 day weekends with tons of holidays. Korea usually does not have that and therefore takes many animation jobs. The west is not competitive in the global animation workforce.

OP was a bit of an exaggeration, I have seen a few episodes of cartoons when I was very young but I have never completely watched a cartoon or even a single season of a cartoon, and I never "followed" any cartoons. My "screen time" was restricted to like half an hour a day up until middle school and I spent it playing video games.

probably been asked a billion times but recommend me some fun comedy anime.

I've watched all the classic ones like gintama, konosuba, prison school, daily lives of high school boys, saiki, grand blue, sakamoto, etc. so recommend me some less-known stuff or maybe something good from the mountains of trash from the recent seasons, just no romcom please, anything else is fine even isekai #293891 as long as it's funny.

maybe there is something similar to jashin-chan and azazel-san? I enjoy seeing retarded but funny demons being abused by their summoners
