An 80s room would have an Atari or NES console, and a Knight Rider poster in the background.
A 90s room would have a Super Nintendo console, and cartoons like Doug or Recess playing on the TV.
What I'm wondering is, how would you define a room's decade if it didn't have any of that, and the only thing you can go by is furniture, decor (non-pop culture), and maybe even architecture? Architecture might be difficult, since it's normal to live in houses that are at least a few decades old.
