Or go to their Dell user forums which will have the answer to such a basic question. Heck, maybe even their answer would be relevant if you bought the PC from someone else such as HP.
I have the windows 10 dvd, so a "factory reset" wouldn't scare me because it is basically delete everything off the hard drive and starts over. With the original disc, I'm guaranteed a working start as long as my optical drive is functional. Which is why I'd test my drive first before did a factory reset.
