Is there a way to crack a hill cipher with only the statistical analysis (i.e frequency of single letters)?
Since hill cipher encrypts in pairs of 2 or in this case probably 3 the frequency of the plaintext letters don't really help me all that much but they were part of the homework so i assume there is something to them. Problem is i can't figure it out
Other then bruteforcing though all of them and check the plaintext for all of them for those frequencies i can't think of a way to solve that. But i can't imagine how long it would take to go though all permutations of 3x3
