Games on Arch linux problem

No.1272343 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Hello /wsr/.
I have installed Arch Linux on my main computer and I tried to play my games from my steam library.
Tried to play TF2 and Helltaker and it worked without any problems, but when I tried to play Deep Rock Galactic with proton I got this error :
"a d3d11-compatible gpu (feature level 11.0 shader model 5.0) is required to run the engine"
I tried to use other versions of proton, proton ge and different AMD gpu drivers but nothing work.
my current gpu is :
https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/asus-r7-250.b2488
But I also plan to buy this gpu :
https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/asus-expedition-rx-570-oc.b4507
My question is :
What exactly does this error mean?
How do I fix this?
How can I identify supported hardware to different versions of proton so I can play my games?

Bonus question :
Where can I find documentation about Proton "fake c drive", its folder structure and what programs are in it?
