No, that's dumb. Rules have power because of a mandate from the masses, and that mandate is made clear by the masses saying "stop doing that shit".
"Report and scroll down" is dumb, it's what you'd tell someone to do if you wanted to undermine the legitimacy of the rules you're trying to break.

Because once there's ten generals, all on the front page, all the time, using the board the way it's supposed to be used becomes impossible. You'd make your thread, and no-one would see it, because the entire front page would be

I get that you just showed up here and have revolutionary ideas about how this board is supposed to work, but "one-request:one-thread" is how the request boards have worked since forever. They're like that for a reason, and if you don't even know what that reason is, fucked if you should be allowed to change it.
