I can’t bold some text/value in Javascript. I can use .toUpperCase(); and it works like a charm, but when I use .bold(); I just get around my text /value without it actually making the text bold.

That's because there is no actually bold text, strictly speaking bold text is just same text in different font. So you need some kind of renderer. With javascript that's normally achieved by rendering it as html page in browser, to do that you normally use .

Thanks, I don’t know why they can’t just make this shit easy. I can do toUpperCase() just fine but bolding text is made more complicated.

bold text is how HTML represents bold text. save it in a .html file and view it in a browser and it will be rendered in a bold font.
there is no such thing as intrinsically bold text in the way there is intrinsically uppercase or lowercase text. when you copy and paste bolded text in google docs or whatever it's using an HTML tag like behind the scenes

what are you even trying to do?
if you want to do some really ugly thing you c𝗮n use unicode bold text but it will only work for some fonts

I understand this, my problem is that when I change my style or just use .bold(), instead of bolding my html, the text just has around it without the text itself being bolded. Unlike toUpperCase which makes my html uppercase with no problem. My problem is with what is viewed on the html

Are you sure you do?

You're probably escaping them somewhere in the pipeline, or you're trying to use them somewhere you can't use HTML, like the titlebar or a textbox.
