Does actual history matter when so many countries or political parties invent "History" on their own and even edit Wikipedia to reflect that? Even school history books are rewritten to insert diversity text stories. You can even see history being altered or deleted with current events on Wikipedia such as the "Twitter Files Investigation" where the leftist Wikipedia editors and administrators traditionally support a progressive slant on history articles at the site. In this case, they seeked to delete references, but that was temporarily stopped. So now it will be made into difficult to find format by changing the name to Twitter Files and then a year or two from now be further reduced by being folded into the main Twitter article where it can be edited into nothingness after a few more years. History in this case is shown to not matter as the leftist viewpoint is what apparently survives in History records.
