how does ddrescue exactly work?
when i ddrescue a big ass drive directly onto another drive (they are exactly the same size, and the first one is readable, it is just that there is a little bit of bad blocks on it, nothing too bad),
what happends with the bad blocks? do they get zerod or what? the recovering drive is mostly fine, with a few bad blocks on it, but cant i just make a 1:1 copy of it to this other drive and fill those bad blocks with zeros or what?
what does ddrescue exactly put instead of the bad blocks?
