If you have a off day walk a trail for a long time. Don't listen to music or a podcast. Just let the sounds of nature surround you. I know this sounds gay, buy it done wonders for me. Also try using a treadmill for 15 minutes a day on a slightly more faster speed then your normal pace

Oh yeah in the moment try listening to some music you find calming. When I'm real stress at work I'll listen to that or I'l relisten to a funny podcast. But taking time to decompress your mind will help you in those situations because you've given your brain more energy to help itself. Or try counting down from a 1000 by 7. It will help force your brain to think about something else
