got a pixel 6a
was planning on learning to root it since i dont know shit about phone tech but i was told id lose my warranty and my sim card if i did that so i wouldnt be able to make any calls or texts at all

but i just fpund out that my p6a DOESNT ALLOW ME TO MAKE CONTACTS TO JUST THE DEVICE AND NOT THE FUCKING GOOGLE ACCOUNT
what do i do?

It does allow that, just not in the default contacts app. You just need different app for that.

1, try to change the os/reroot my pixel because i wont actually be barred from making calls from my sim
2. i WILL be barred from making calls on a rooted phone but i should do it anyway
3. a solution that allows me to make and save contacts that doesnt require rooting like an app or something that i can do instead
