I'm looking for fun pc games I can play with friends online.
I have 2 friends who I play games sometimes, everyone with their own PC from their home.
We already played terraria, and halo, and we usually talk on discord with mics to communicate while playing.
We tried that "Among us" game, but it wasn't enjoyable (it's just a psychopath simulator, I'm not into that), tried fornite, but I guess I'm too boomer to enjoy it, tried warframe, and it was kind of fun. We even tried that "Genshin impact" game, but got bored after a bit, and stopped playing (I think we are not made for gachas).
One of them suggested playing "project zomboid" but the store says it's on early access, and I don't really trust games in that state.
Do you have any game recommendations to play together online? If possible something which isn't an MMO (had bad experiences with those) and something with controller support.
