massive community support should mean nothing, either you have clear rules and enforce them or you have unclear or non-enforced non-rules that are or aren't "community supported".
also, since 4chan doesn't have rules and all that matters is board culture, mods should not be allowed to issue global bans. only board bans. it makes no sense to get banned globally for posting the wrong content on a specific board if you've posted that exact same thing for years on 99 other boards.
i think the problem we're having here is that you're hung up on talking about 1 specific rule that works on /a/ while all im doing is stating that 4chan's rules as a whole is complete and utter shit that is a waste of time to read compared to just posting on the different boards and see what shit sticks and what gets wiped off. if the rules actually had some value instead of being dogshit you wouldn't need to lurk anywhere.
