What is the least shit web browser/engine search combination currently? I tolerated jewgle until it started sneaking headlines into its pages for their bloggers and newspapers of choice.

My opinion is to drop DDG in favor of https://searx.be and customize the browser to your liking. I use Librewolf too.
You could use any Invidious instance that allows proxying videos to replace YouTube, like https://vid.puffyan.us (you have to save those settings)
