How many popular manga/anime in japan that are generally obscure or unpopular in the west are there? Any good series that never come up in discussions you would personally recommend?
I'm getting hooked on The Five Star Stories which surprisingly enough has almost all volumes translated in italian (even if the latter ones have a few print issues).
