Most of the sites I get images from, give them in webp format. I'm not sure what this implies, but whenever I try to upload an image, and it is a webp format one, I get the message saying that format is not allowed. Is there any reason for this?
does implementing the use of that format carry something else (like the site needing something to parse them or something)?

I see webm format is allowed for video, I'm not sure if there's any relation between webm and webp (besides starting the same).
