>>1426118When I didn't have any energy to play real games I played Hidden Object Games (from Artifex Mundi and Big Fish). They are incredibly casual, but playing them gave me enough motivation to play less casual games.
What also works is hard games you can try over and over nonstop, like hotline miami or olliolli. You get into the flow and there's no pressure because you don't lose much progress when you die. I also beat all the bosses in Hollow Knight on radiant difficulty (in the Godhome).
I also spent some time trying to find all the collectible flags in the first Assassin's Creed, without using a map. This is normally very tedious, but it's something to do when you don't have energy for anything else.
Sokoban-type puzzle games also work.
The key is combining games with listening to a podcast or something. A game is boring, and so is a podcast, but together it's great.
