I'm not much into the tech stuff, but I want to set some goal for a "high endurance PC", I want to know what would be the current components I'd need to make a PC which can run all the current games.
I'm saving up to buy the pieces little by little, and I want to know how much my goal would be, and at least knowing which components would be the best, I could maybe go down from there till I reach some affordable price.
I have seen there are some "workbench comparison" websites, but I don't want to make a mistake like buying some CPU which isn't compatible with certain motherboard, or get some graphics card which would later block ports of the motherboard, or ruin another component because heat, etc (That happened to a friend of mine who also doesn't know a lot).
I'm not one of those "I want to put some water and some fish inside too as coolant, and a rainbow led display to make it look cool" dudes, I just want the PC to work fine, not to look the gayest to show it off, what I care the most is performance.
What would be the current specs for "the PC which can run all the games" ?
If you also have some "recommended affordable specs because getting the best would be stupid because the price/performance gap is too big to actually be worthy all that extra expense" I'd also like to know that.
