You should know the brand of the RGB. Most motherboards and RGB components come with their own software that allows you to control the lighting. Look for applications like ASUS Aura, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, etc. Within these programs, you should be able to find an option to turn off the lighting entirely. If not obvious to you, look in your START menu for a relevant program and/or type "rgb" in the search box.

You can also disable RGB lighting through your BIOS settings. This method varies depending on your motherboard manufacturer, but it typically involves navigating to the Advanced settings and finding a section for onboard LEDs or RGB lighting. You can then choose to disable it.

The riskiest approach is to yank wires. Some RGB fans may have a separate power connection for the lights themself. Disconnecting this cable would also turn off the lighting. If it is a 4-pin connector, you might not choose to yank wires because you want the temperature sensors on the fans to be read by the motherboard. Simply yanking such would result in the fans being at max speed all the time if the system was designed properly.
