So pretty much, I have a 2012 Macbook pro retina that won't turn on whatsoever.
I replaced the battery, SSD, even the goddamn logic board itself but I don't even hear the fans turn on when I press the power button.
I did notice that when I reset the SMC while it's plugged in, the Charge port LED changes color for a brief moment so the keyboard does work.
I hooked it up to a monitor and still no results.
Does anyone have any speculation on what the issue could be? I found it at a goodwill auction a while ago and figured it'd be a fun project to work on but I'm getting fuck all progress with this thing
