Help doing some math

This is a very strange request, but can you guys take a look at this page of an old book and help me figure out some math?

I've studied US political history for a long time now, and I am attempting to make a map of the highest percentage of the vote Democratic presidential candidates have received in each county. It's a pretty large task, but this map is of what I've accomplished for 1880 - 2020. I am now expanding the data set to 1856 - 2020, but there's a problem. I need to know the results of a couple of cities in Virginia in the 1872 and 1876 Presidential Elections. I scoured the internet quite a lot, but information can be very hard to find for some subjects. I managed to find an old book on Archive.org that actually has a ton of county totals in Presidential Elections from 1872 to 1888, which is very helpful.

there are 2 columns of results on each page, and you only need to pay attention to a small section of page 825. The layout has the name of the county/city on the left side, and then for each Presidential Election (Years listed at the top) it shows the total number of votes cast in that county/city. Then just beneath that, it shows how many more votes the winner of the county/city received than their opponent. Next to that number is a "D" or an "R", representing which candidate won the county by that number of votes (Democrat or Republican). The only section of this page that's important to me are the cities, which are beneath the word "Cities" on the bottom of the left side and continue at the top of the right side of the page. By the way, there were only 2 candidates in both the 1872 and 1876 Presidential Elections in Virginia.

Using this data, I should be able to figure out what percentage of the vote each candidate received in these places in 1872 and 1876. The problem is that I am extremely, extremely bad at math. Can anybody help me out with this?
