I'm looking for a very old gif of an anime character doing backflips/cartwheels in a circle that causes a ring of fire to follow him. I was looking for the gif to also find the anime that it came from. I remember it being a mecha anime with ridiculous set pieces. I think it was a 70s/80s anime and the main cast were stage performers, but my search attempts only keep showing me Fire Force and Backflip results.

It may have also been the same anime that had about 7 different machines combine into one stupid looking one, but I am also struggling to find that gif as well and keep running into SEO hell.
