So there's a common trope in romance fiction where

>after pretending for a while, they genuinely fall in love with each other and become a legitimate couple

Are there any media where they do the first part, but not the second? I want to see a fake couple actually dissolve once the goals have been met. Any medium is fine. Western or eastern, literary or motion.
