I'm looking for 2D action games with a bizarre atmosphere like Castlevania but edgy and (maybe) erotic as a Japanese eroge. Basically, I'm looking for games like Rusty, but no problem if the erotic part is not there. And especially pre-2000 or at least early 2000 games.

Also, anything that looks like horror comics from the 80s like Swamp Thing is welcomed
