I was watching a YouTube video and saw this. It's only on one leg and not visible in any other videos.

Is this an ankle monitor used for people out on bail, or is it some kinds of medical monitor or something?
If its an ankle monitor could someone figure out the model or something?

It could be an ankle weight, but it doesn't make sense that its only on one leg
Otherwise it could be an anti-static ankle band.
Also I saw a few anti-tick bands that are similar to that.
It really depends on the video context.

The video is from 2018-2019, and I think the location is Mississippi

There does seem to be a slightly bulky black spot on the left of the ankle. If it’s an ankle monitor could that be the electronic part? Are their ankle monitors with straps as thick as that?
