My laptop's screen broke a while ago, l've been using it with an external screen with an hdmi, had no issues until recently when the laptop detected failure on the LCD Cable, then the laptop started showing the corresponding orange n white (2,7) blinking pattern before turning itself off after 30 seconds or so, while still loading and even booting windows before dying, sometimes this does not happen though, and works fine until turning off the laptop
I believe the issue is that the broken screen is sometimes detected as working and sometimes isn't due to damage, the lap finds out and turns its self off, probably ePSA the responsible of this behavior
Ive played around the bios to turn this off but found nothing that worked out
There must be a way to bypass this sort of thing even if its a bit hacky
