A couple years back I saw a screen cap of a quora answer where a father writes that he suggested his daughter date some boy but she said something like he’s the type of guy you marry not date. His wife agrees and says she wouldn’t have appreciated him until he was older. He ends it by saying he is wiser for listening to them or something.
