I don't know anything about computers but I have an old laptop with two drives in it (C and D). How do I take the drives in there and use it in my computer?

A small Phillipshead screwdriver (size #00 or #000)
& a plastic spudger or guitar pick/credit card.
Might need a small flathead screwdriver too.

can't i just take out the laptop drive and put it in the computer? I don't need all the components just the drive, right? or is there like a whole process to it or smth?

You can take out the hdd which is probably your D:
You will need to remove the back for the ssd probably C:

Similar, hdd remove screws unplug cable.
ssd remove screw remove from slot.
