Same way you remove/delete any other file. Locate it and press delete in the menu options or on the keyboard.
Also the same way as other programs, you MAY have to close blender to delete a blend file if it was opened.
If you try and delete one with it locked, you may have to reboot to unlock it as well. Sometimes (Windows) is clingy and likes to keep files, I’ve not had this issue in linux, yet.
