Which edition of Berserk should I get?

I found a complete Berzerk Deluxe Edition set (at the time) at a Half Price Books that was said to be part of a book collection from someone who died. His family members sold all his books and anime movies to the store.

Yeah only the first volume is available at that store. They also have the first volume of Initial D Omnibus. Worst scenario if you hate it you can return the book for your full money back since its a major retail chain they dont make a big deal about returned items.

Personally, I always choose singles over omnibuses. I like the size, and the different covers are neat
Omnibuses are a lot cheaper though. Up to you, I guess. At least Berserk singles are easy to find. Can't say the same about other manga (Vagabond, Gantz, Monster, etc).

I've been lucky a few times finding entire OOP sets at Half Price Book stores. However Its a rare occasion. I would nerd out finding a complete MPD Psycho set. At the moment I've only found a Vol 1.
