Select Advanced [ from Basic / Advanced column options ] ;
Inspect "tick boxes": most are probably tick-enabled with blue background
... but use your own discretion to untick "cherished" private data e.g. Passwords and other sign-in data / auto-fill form data ;
when satisfied with your chosed options: click the (Delete data) toggle-switch from the (Cancel) / (Delete data) toggles
Notes:
if you are online & signed into your Google Account, I would expect these History data changes to sync across your various devices that use Chrome, without affecting other browers that you might occasionally use, in your devices.
If you are offline and/or signed out from your Google Account I expect the changes would only be made in the "bug-ridden" Chrome browser installed in the device you are currently de-bugging.
