How the fuck did this happen? Last link I posted on this site was a video on posture stretches from /fit/ a week ago, this was from my personable router and not from mobile data
Don't really give a shit about appealing it or whatever, just curious what the jannies were thinking

Were you constantly connected?
The assigned IP address isn't static. Once you lost it it got assigned to someone else who did that. Even if you have one of those always-connected routers where you then join the WLAN, usually the connection resets after 24 hours.
If not someone actually broke into your network.

I don't think my ISP is dynamic since it doesn't change every time it gets unplugged or when I try resetting in on command prompt. I live alone and barely anyone comes into my apartment

same thing happened to me too, it was ban for spamming on board I don't even visit

the IP address usually doesn't change instantly when unplugged/powered off, because router at your ISP has cache which stores list of assigned IP address and MAC address pairs

Jannies hand out these bans with a few clicks and never look back. Why do you think it's more likely you used someone else's IP, instead of a jannie misclicking random buttons
