yt-dlp cookies not recognized?

What am I doing wrong?
I'm trying to download https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1NT421r79s
I'm tried with both opera and edge and neither command is grabbing the cookies. In the browser, I'm logged in and able to watch at 1080p, so why can't I download it at 1080?

Do you have multiple profiles on both and it doesn't know which to pull from, maybe? Not sure. But try to specificy by profile... [code:lit] --cookies-from-browser "opera:path/to/gx/profile"[/code:lit] assuming GX. Change as appropriate.

Otherwise, can export cookies the cookies manually from a browser extension like EditThisCookie then pass the [code:lit]--cookies[/code:lit] flag and point it to the exported file instead, like:

[code:lit]yt-dlp --cookies C:\Users\XXX\Downloads\cookiesFile[/code]

Also bear in mind that Windows is kind of weird with how it handles being in different 'drives' like E. Make sure everything's where it should be.

No? Back when I was using GX, I couldn't figure out how to make it grab cookies from build so I ended up just installing Opera stable just for this. With stable, only one user profile.
I couldn't figure out how to work EditThisCookie so I just ended up using Get cookies.txt LOCALLY and did that instead.

It has been FUCKING forever since I did this but I know at one point there was some sort of incompatibility, yt-dl (showing how long it's been) could only use cookies gotten with a specific extension, you might want to check if that's still the case.

Currently yt-dlp requires a premium bilibli account to download 1080p even if the 1080p video is available without one. Someone is making a pull request to fix it atm https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/pull/10559
Anyway you can use this instead for now https://github.com/nilaoda/BBDown , you dont need to give it cookies. Just make sure to have ffmpeg in the same directory or in your path, much like you need for yt-dlp.
