Not sure if this is right board but fug it
Should I gamble slightly on a 13th gen Intel CPU? I'm looking to upgrade my CPU, and 13th gen Intel CPUs are within my price range, whereas Ryzen is cheaper but slower and requires swapping more parts bringing the price up. Should I take a chance on getting a newer Intel CPU despite the issues they've had? In theory, the voltage issues in the microcode are fixed, and the problems with oxidation are also resolved. So, theoretically, it should be fine???
Right now, I am considering either the Intel Core i9-13900K or the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X on team red. The Ryzen option would require a new motherboard and RAM, and it's considerably slower. Additionally, DDR5 RAM is expensive, especially since I need a minimum of 64GB and plan to upgrade to 128GB for AI shit. The Intel option would just require a cheap motherboard swap but could be unstable if issues where not actually fixed this time and I also lose out on upgradability Ryzen is known for
